Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

1.Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Goodish Labs Inc (“Goodish Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Mazoo, including our website at trymazoo.com, our web app at app.trymazoo.com, our mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you have questions, the best way to reach us is by email at support@trymazoo.com.

2.Information We Collect

Information you provide. This includes:

  • your name and email address, including when you join the waitlist or create an account;
  • account and profile details, such as a username;
  • photos you upload to try on clothing, and the try-ons generated from them;
  • content you create or upload, such as clothing you add, catalog contributions, product data, and try-ons.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain technical information, such as device and app details, IP address, and usage and log data.

Payment information. The Services are currently free to use, and we do not collect payment card details. If you click an affiliate link and buy from a merchant, that purchase and any payment information are handled by the merchant, not by us.

3.Photos and AI Try-Ons

Your photos are central to how Mazoo works, and we treat them with care.

  • Why we process them. When you try on an item, we may send your photo and the selected item to third-party AI providers (such as Google and other AI image providers) for the purpose of generating the try-on you requested.
  • Improving our technology. We may use the photos you upload and the try-ons generated from them to operate, develop, train, fine-tune, and improve our AI models and the Services. We do not sell your photos.
  • No biometric identification. We do not use your photos for facial recognition or biometric identification, and we do not create a faceprint or other biometric identifier from them.
  • Storage. Photos and generated images are stored using secured cloud storage.
  • Visibility. Your try-ons and lookbook are private to you; Mazoo has no public feed. You can delete your photos and content from within the Services or by emailing us.

4.How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including generating your try-ons;
  • create and manage your account;
  • communicate with you, including sending service and marketing emails;
  • protect the security and integrity of the Services and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • understand how the Services are used and improve them, including developing, training, and improving our AI models; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Marketing choices. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by emailing us. We will still send you essential service messages about your account and the Services.

5.Legal Bases for Processing

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we process personal information on the basis of: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); the performance of our contract with you to provide the Services; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services; and compliance with legal obligations.

6.When and With Whom We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors that process it on our behalf to run the Services, including authentication and database, media storage, AI models, email, hosting and analytics. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Shared catalog. When you add clothing to Mazoo, you may choose to contribute the item to a shared catalog that other users can try on. Contributing an item is optional — we ask you explicitly before an item is added to the shared catalog, and you can decline. Your personal photos and the try-ons generated from them remain private to you and are not shared with other users.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Goodish Labs.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7.Third-Party Websites and Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, brands, and merchants, including affiliate links. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and this Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8.Social Logins

If you choose to register or sign in using a third-party account, we receive basic profile information from that provider (such as your name and email) as permitted by your settings with them. We use that information to create and manage your account.

9.International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for these transfers.

10.How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterward only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Because photos are sensitive, when you delete a photo or try-on, or close your account, we remove the associated images from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain them to comply with law.

11.How We Protect Information

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12.Children

The Services are for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it and deactivate the account. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please email us.

13.Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these choices within the Services, or by emailing us at support@trymazoo.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

14.Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website only where they are needed to operate the Services — for example, to keep you signed in and to secure your session. For usage measurement we use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set cookies to track you across websites, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we do not set non-essential tracking cookies, we do not currently display a cookie-consent banner. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, we do not currently respond to them.

15.U.S. State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and certain targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, email us at support@trymazoo.com; we will verify and respond to your request as required by law, and you may use an authorized agent where permitted.

16.Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

17.Contact Us

The best way to reach us about privacy is by email. You can also write to us by mail. See also our Terms of Service.
